100-Day Try It Guarantee - full terms

1) Eligibility

  • Applies to Redirector, by Bumpi® purchased directly from our official store or an authorised partner.
  • One try-it return per household to keep things fair.
  • Business, fleet, or bulk orders are excluded from this consumer guarantee.

2) The 100-day window

  • The guarantee runs for 100 calendar days starting on the delivery date shown by the carrier.
  • You must contact us within the window to initiate a return. We’ll provide simple instructions.

3) What this guarantee covers

  • Change-of-mind or not-right-for-me returns after genuine use.
  • Normal, everyday testing in a roadworthy vehicle with a standard 3-point seatbelt, installed per the included instructions.

4) Condition on return

  • Light wear is OK. We expect you tried it.
  • Must include all components: base, pad, extender, straps, hardware, and quick-start guide.
  • No severe soiling, odors, tears, burns, pet damage, missing parts, or modifications.
  • Packaging helps but isn’t mandatory. Please pack safely to avoid transit damage.

5) Return shipping

  • Australia: we provide a prepaid return label.
  • International: customer arranges a tracked service to the return address.
  • We are not responsible for returns lost in transit. Please keep your tracking.

6) Refunds

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method after inspection.
  • We refund the product price.
  • Original shipping fees are refundable for Australia returns. For international customers, original shipping is not refundable.
  • If items are excessively soiled, incomplete, or damaged, we may offer a partial refund or return the item to you.

7) Exchanges

  • Want a replacement or different color instead of a refund? We’re happy to exchange within the same 100-day window, stock permitting.

8) Hygiene and safety

  • Redirector is a safety-adjacent product. Returned units are sanitised and inspected.
  • We reserve the right to decline a refund if the product is returned in an unsafe condition or with missing critical parts.

9) Misuse and exclusions

  • The guarantee does not cover damage from misuse, commercial use, crash involvement, alterations, or installation that does not follow instructions.
  • Final-sale or clearly marked clearance items are excluded unless faulty as per your statutory rights.

10) Defects and warranties

  • Manufacturing faults are handled under our warranty. Contact us and we’ll repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.

11) Proof of purchase

  • We may ask for your order number, name, email, and reasonable evidence of delivery.

12) Abuse prevention

  • To protect the program, we may refuse or limit returns that appear fraudulent, excessive, or beyond normal use. One try-it return per household.

13) Your statutory rights

  • For Australian customers, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) cannot be excluded. This guarantee adds to those rights, it does not replace them.
  • For customers outside Australia, you may have non-excludable rights under your local consumer laws.

14) Policy updates

  • We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one in effect on your purchase date.

How to start a return

  • Email our team with your order number and the phrase “100-day try it” in the subject. We’ll reply with your label or instructions and the return address.

Warranty Period

1) Coverage period

  • This limited warranty runs for 2 years from the carrier delivery date.
  • If a fault appears during this period under normal use, we will repair, replace, or refund as outlined below.
  • Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) apply in addition to this warranty and cannot be excluded.

2) Products covered

  • Redirector, by Bumpi, purchased new from our official store or an authorised reseller.
  • Proof of purchase is required.

3) What is covered

  • Manufacturing defects and defects in materials or workmanship, including:
    - Stitching failure, structural failure of webbing or fasteners.
    - Premature delamination or bond failure.
    - Hardware faults that prevent correct function when installed per instructions.

4) What is not covered

  • Damage from misuse, incorrect installation, or use with anything other than a standard 3-point seatbelt.
  • Damage caused by a collision or crash event.
  • Modifications, unauthorised repairs, or use not in accordance with the included instructions.
  • Cosmetic wear like light scuffs, minor pilling, fading, routine marks, ordinary aging.
  • Severe soiling, odors, pet or pest damage, burns, chemical exposure, or heat damage.
  • Lost or stolen items.
  • Bulk fleet purchases or commercial use unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

5) How to make a claim

  • Contact us with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos or a short video.
  • We may ask for photos showing how the unit was installed and the batch or serial code on the label.
  • If the claim is approved, we will provide a prepaid return label in Australia or confirm the next step for international returns.
  • Do not continue using any product you believe is unsafe.

6) Our remedies

  • At our option, we will repair, replace with a new or equivalent unit, or refund the purchase price if a repair or replacement is not practical.
  • Replacement items may be new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability.
  • The warranty period for a repaired or replaced item continues for the remainder of the original 2-year term or 90 days from the date you receive the repaired or replaced item, whichever is longer.

7) Shipping and costs

  • Australia: for approved warranty claims, we cover return shipping.
  • International: you are responsible for shipping to us unless we advise otherwise. Where practical, we may offer a local replacement or a partial refund to avoid unnecessary freight.
  • We are not responsible for items lost in transit. Always keep your tracking receipt.

8) Relationship to the 100-day Try It Guarantee

  • If a product fault appears within the first 100 days, you may choose to use the Try It Guarantee or this warranty. We will guide you to the simplest option.

9) Safety and proper use

  • Redirector does not replace your seatbelt. Always wear a standard 3-point seatbelt correctly and keep airbags active unless your vehicle manufacturer states otherwise.

  • Always follow the included instructions for installation and use.

10) Limits and rights


  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of the product or from a breach of this warranty.

  • Nothing in these terms limits any non-excludable rights you have under the ACL or other local consumer laws.

11) Transfer and proof


  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable without our written consent.

  • We may require reasonable evidence of purchase and delivery.

12) Policy updates


  • We may update this warranty from time to time. The version that applies is the one in effect on your purchase date.

How to get help

  • Email us with the subject Warranty Help, include your order number, photos or a short video, and your best contact details. We will confirm next steps within a reasonable time.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the websites, stores, content, products, and services provided by bumpi Pty Ltd and its related bodies corporate, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, “bumpi”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our site, purchasing any product including “Redirector, by bumpi®”, or interacting with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not access or use the site or purchase our products. Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) cannot be excluded. To contact us, email info@bumpi.au.

1. Definitions

  • Account means a registered user profile you create to access parts of the site.
  • Product means any item we sell, including Redirector, by bumpi® and associated parts, kits, and accessories.
  • Site means any website, subdomain, or online store operated by bumpi.
  • You means the individual end user, purchaser, or visitor.

2. Acceptance of Terms and Updates

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have parental consent to use the Site. We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Site. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, stop using the Site and do not purchase Products.

3. Medical, Safety, and Legal Disclaimers

  • No medical advice. Information on the Site is general information only and not medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider about seatbelt use during pregnancy.
  • Not a seatbelt replacement. Redirector, by bumpi® does not replace or modify a seatbelt. It is an accessory designed to help position the lap portion of a standard 3-point seatbelt. You must wear your seatbelt correctly and comply with local road rules at all times.
  • Vehicle compatibility. You are solely responsible for confirming your vehicle has a standard 3-point seatbelt and that installation follows the included instructions. Do not use with lap-only belts, non-roadworthy seats, fixed racing seats, or incompatible configurations.
  • Airbags and restraints. Keep airbags active unless your vehicle manufacturer states otherwise.
  • Assumption of risk. Driving involves inherent risks. To the extent permitted by law, you accept all risks arising from use or misuse of Products and from driving or riding in a motor vehicle.

4. Orders, Pricing, and Availability

We may accept or reject any order at our discretion. Prices, promotions, and availability may change without notice. We may limit quantities per person, household, or order and cancel or refuse orders that appear to be placed by resellers or distributors. All descriptions and pricing are subject to correction of errors.

5. Payment, Billing, and Chargebacks

You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for all amounts due. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and account information and to promptly update changes. Unwarranted chargebacks constitute a breach of these Terms and you agree to cooperate with us in good faith to resolve billing disputes.

6. Shipping, Risk of Loss, and Title

We ship to the address you provide. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery by the carrier, except where required otherwise by the ACL. Title transfers when we receive full payment. International customers are responsible for duties, taxes, and customs clearance. Delivery timeframes are estimates only.

7. Returns, 100-Day Try It Guarantee, and Warranty

Your consumer rights under the ACL apply in addition to our policies.

  • 100-Day Try It Guarantee. We offer a 100-day try it program as described on the Site. You must initiate returns within the window and return all components in acceptable condition as set out in the policy.
  • Limited Warranty. After the 100-day period, our limited warranty applies for the stated term. The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use and excludes misuse, crash involvement, improper installation, alterations, or use inconsistent with instructions.
  • Policy control. Where any conflict exists, the specific policy posted on the Site at the time of your purchase governs. We reserve reasonable rights to request photos or videos, proof of purchase, batch codes, and to inspect returns.

8. Installation and Use Requirements for Redirector, by bumpi®

You must read and follow the included instructions. Install only on compatible front seats that use a standard 3-point seatbelt. Do not modify the Product. Do not continue use if damaged or if safe operation is in doubt. You are responsible for periodic inspection, proper fit, and correct use on each journey.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You must not misuse the Site or Products, including by:

  • Violating any law or regulation.
  • Circumventing security features, scraping, or data mining.
  • Infringing intellectual property rights.
  • Posting, sharing, or transmitting unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Site, our services, or networks.

    We may suspend or terminate access for any breach.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, icons, product names, and software, is owned or licensed by bumpi and is protected by intellectual property laws. bumpi, Redirector, by bumpi®, and associated marks are trademarks of bumpi or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, nonexclusive license to access the Site for personal use. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted.

11. User Content and Reviews

If you submit reviews, photos, videos, ideas, or other content, you grant bumpi a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, perform, display, commercialize, and create derivative works from that content in any media. You warrant you have all rights necessary, your content is accurate and lawful, and it does not infringe third party rights. We may monitor, edit, or remove content at our discretion but have no obligation to do so.

12. Third Party Services and Links

We may provide links or access to third party websites, tools, logistics providers, payment processors, or services. These are provided as is without warranties. We are not responsible for third party content or actions. Your use of third party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

13. Privacy

Your submission of personal information through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information as described there.

14. Compliance, Sanctions, and Export

You must comply with all applicable import, export, customs, and sanctions laws. You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any prohibited jurisdiction or on any restricted party list.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to the ACL:

  • The Site and Products are provided on an as is and as available basis.
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement, except where such warranties are nonexcludable at law.
  • Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error free, or that defects will be corrected, or that information is accurate, complete, or current.

Nothing in these Terms limits any nonexcludable statutory warranties or guarantees under the ACL.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law and subject to the ACL:

  • We exclude all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising from or related to the Site, Products, or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such losses.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site, Products, or these Terms is limited to the lesser of the amount you paid for the Product or AUD $500.
  • Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the repair or replacement of the goods, the supply of equivalent goods, or the cost of doing so, as permitted by the ACL.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless bumpi and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, service providers, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:

  • Your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
  • Your misuse of the Site or Products.
  • Your content, including any infringement, defamation, or privacy claims.
  • Your driving or vehicle use while using any Product.

18. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or cancel orders at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraud, abuse, or misuse, or as required by law. Obligations and liabilities incurred prior to termination survive termination.

19. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, wars, labor disputes, governmental actions, supply chain disruption, carrier failure, or telecommunications interruptions.

20. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Federal Court of Australia sitting in Queensland for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Products.

21. Dispute Process

Before commencing proceedings, the parties will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith by written notice and a 30 day negotiation period. This section does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief.

22. Severability

If any provision is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

23. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations without restriction, including to a successor or purchaser of assets or equity.

24. Notices

Notices to bumpi must be sent to info@bumpi.au and are deemed given on receipt. We may provide notices to you via the email address associated with your order or Account, or by posting on the Site.

25. Entire Agreement and Interpretation

These Terms, together with any policies referenced on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and bumpi regarding the Site and Products and supersede any prior agreements. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. Any ambiguities will not be construed against the drafting party.

26. Reservation of Rights

We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these Terms. No waiver of any term will be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
